Large wine room with Oak racking

Traditional with a hint of modern.

Our client wanted a traditional wine room with just a hint of modern and has many bottles as possible.

Specifications

Project Type:

New construction

Enclosure Bottle Count:

over 2,300

Inspiration:

We went with predominantly wood racking with some black metal as the black worked nicely with the lighter Oak wood racking.

Technical Specs:

There are two split systems in the attic directly above the cellar. They are sized and spaced correctly so the room will remain cold if one stops working.

Racks:

The racking is from Kessick.

The racking consists of traditional individual cubbies, sliding trays for bottles or OWCs and display rows .

The island has one side lower than the rest so it’s easier to unpack boxes of wine.
