All metal and glass

Modern!

Our client wanted modern racking along the glass walls in the large 12’ wide, 12’ long, 12’ tall room. The ranch is outside Llano.

Specifications

Project Type:

New construction

Enclosure Bottle Count:

over 1,800

Inspiration:

Our client wanted modern and something that is a Wow from both sides of the walls.

Technical Specs:

There are two split systems in the attic directly above the cellar. They are sized and spaced correctly so the room will remain cold if one stops working.

All the glass and the room height requires a lot of refrigeration capacity and well planned placement of the return and supply vents.

Racks:

Racking that looks good from both sides of the large, all glass walls was a challenge.

The design was a collaboration between NCV, the Houston based metal artist and the client. Some tricks were used to get the racking to touch the ceiling! There are hidden LEDs that highlight the reveal rows.
